After studying Biology and getting her Ph.D. at the University of Santiago de Compostela, Bibiana
earned a national grant to study and get her Masters degree in Viticulture and Enology at the University
of California. There she learned sensory evaluation with Professor Ann Noble, author of the Wine Aroma Wheel.
Her enthusiasm for Viticulture brought her to Montpellier, France - where Viticulture was born -, where she took classes
from authorities like Professors Champagnol and Boubals, and learned sensory evaluation with Professor Razungles.
There she earned the National French Diplome of Enology, and worked at Prémier Crus Classé Chateau Lafite-Rothschild, in Bordeaux.
After that, Bibiana went back to California, where she worked in several wineries in the viticultural areas of Sonoma, Napa, Lodi and Clarksburg.
Most recently, she worked as Viticulturist for Bogle Winery ("Winery of the Year" by Wine Enthusiast, 2019) where she advised contracted growers
from all over California so that the grapes met the winery quality standards.
After 30 years in California, she returns to Galicia to restore a XIX century farmhouse destined to be a tourist accommodation.
